Göteborg Trophy - Grand Prix

Göteborg Trophy dates back to 1977 when the class was called The Axel Johnson Grand Prix. Today the name is Göteborg Trophy but the level is the same. Göteborg Trophy is an international Grand Prix with obstacles at a maximum height of 1.55m. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson is the only Swede ever to have won the Trophy, but he has done it twice!

The difficulties are not just the height, it is also the width and/or the character of the fence and the distance between the fences, that challenge the rider and the horse.

The Winner 2009

Edwina Alexander/Isovlas Socrates was the proud winner 2009. Swedish Rolf-Göran Bengtsson/Casall La Silla was second and Marcus Ehning/Sabrina third.
